Westwood Theater Cameo in Resident Evil 2

TORONTO, CANADA — The Westwood Theater has a cameo in the movie Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
It’s in the part where a guy is on the roof of the theater shooting at zombies. They also show you a seen where they’re inside and outside of the theater.
The Westwood was located in Toronto, Ontario and is now a parking lot unfortunately.

That’s were the she is/was located! :) I have trying like a madman to find out that theatre’s location. After watching that scene I kept thinking “That theatre had to have been abandoned/closed”. That scene was so brutal on the building. Well…if she had to go out why not in a movie.
A good friend of mine was a movie extra in that movie playing a zombie and I remember her saying that it took about 20 takes to get some of the seens right and only one take to blow up the Westwood theatre sign and the theatre its self. The Westwood sure when out with a bang.
I saw Titanic at Westwood theatre! The seats smelled like pee and the floors were sticky. It deserved to be blown up:)
