NEW CASTLE, PA — The Warner Film Center proudly announces its “Kickstarter” fundraising program with the generous support of the Lawrence County Commissioners. “Kickstarter” is an online platform that makes it gloriously easy to contribute to WFC’s re-creation of the Warner Brothers’ first nickelodeon theatre, in downtown New Castle.

This campaign and has a goal of $23,128 – one dollar for every person in New Castle – and the County Commissioners have promised to match every dollar donated through “Kickstarter” up to the goal amount.

Donors who pledge 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 dollars or more will receive thank-you gifts ranging from an escorted tour of the Cascade Theatre, to a WFC t-shirt, to a DVD signed by Cass Warner, to a permanent name plaque on a chair in the Cascade Theatre.

To contribute, and take part in history, go to www.kickstarter.com. Campaign ends Feb. 1, 2014.
