The Fair is definitely open. Astoria B'lvd and 100th Street, Queens
Some of the best years of my youth were spent at this theatre. Is there another adult theatre close to NYC? There’s got to be another place like this theatre once was. Does anyone know?
The Fair is definitely open. Called them yesterday. They do allow crossdressers… I haven’t been there since COVID but will visit over the weekend. Also going to dress. 👠
I posted it on their site. Someone on there says they saw it on Reddit, I searched Reddit for Fair Theater and nothing came up

I called the Fair and the person who answered said there are no plans to close the theater.
I don’t know of any other adult theaters in NY City.

Me too. Only The Fair in Queens is left.
I must be honest here. I truly miss the Brooklyn Cinema and my trips to Kings Highway. I had so much fun at the theatre. I was young, full of life, full of energy. At 58, I deeply yearn for those days again.

The Fair on Astoria Blvd. but pretty crowded with Indian men from nearby neighborhoods.
I believe part of the building is landmarked and cannot be demolished. It can be remodeled as far as I know.

A friend told me the theatre is being cleaned out. The end of an era.
This should be changed to “closed”.

Open or still closed? Anyone pass by the theatre lately? If it’s still closed does anyone know if it will ever reopen?
Too bad it’s currently closed. I had some great meetings there(and some not so great).My favorite part of the theatre was the top floor (what use to be the balcony in the old days). I use to go up there to relax and no one seemed to bother you up there. There is a platform under neath the screen where a very hot Italian boy use to go up there and perform for the audience. He was just a customer and alot of guys would follow him up there just to watch him. A great exhibitionist. Does anyone remember seeing him there?
