Happy 60th to the Cinerama Dome, which held its grand opening (and world premiere of “It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”) on this date in 1963. It’s a shame the theater is currently closed and that we cannot celebrate the occasion with a festival or special screening.
