The count of 361 comes from a movie theater worker who counted each seat because she was bored. It probably had slightly more seats at one point, but a few seats were removed to make handicap-accessible seating.

Hancock Fabrics closed about 5 years ago. The space is still vacant because the strip mall’s owners kicked nearly everyone out in hopes of luring Wal-Mart.

1989 phone book lists Saginaw Conference Center at this address. According to other sources, the building was expanded after the theater closed.

Currently, it’s occupied by a health office.

As mentioned above, the former cinema was later a retail outlet; I believe it was last used as a Fashion Bug store. I’ve been told that the mall closed in 1998.

The entire mall was torn down in 2010 and is now a vacant lot. See more info here: View link

It was indeed called the Janes and never the Bel Air. Please fix the listing.

Maple Valley Truss is a Prudenville address, so the drive-in was indeed in Prudenville.

That photo is actually of the mall entry. The doors in that photo lead into the food court; the theater is directly across the hall from it.

Also, it had two screens.

Address was 3955 S. US-31. The Plaza opened on September 19, 1975 and closed in 1993. The adjacent Meijer store demolished the building in 1993 for expansion. The marquee was apparently recycled by the Meijer store’s gas bar.

The marquee is still used by an adjacent retailer.

This is a duplicate listing with the Hi-Vue Drive-In in Durand. Please merge it.

Also, this opened in 1981 and expanded over time, but I’m not sure when.

According to its current website ( http://rcctheatre.org/ ), it no longer shows films. It is now a performance house only.

Most likely closed in 1975 when the Northwoods Drive-In opened on the other side of town in Prudenville. 1951 listing calls this the Olson Drive-In.
