This double feature was my introduction to James Bond at the Babylon theater in the late spring of 1965. A set of gum cards was issued to coincide with the release of this double feature, the set included the first three James Bond movies, DR.NO,FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE,and the most recent one GOLDFINGER, I collected them all.

This movie was released a year after Bruce Lee’s death in 1973,edited from episodes of the 1966 TV show “The Green Hornet”. It was based on the 1940’s radio show and serial movie. The actual star of the show was Van Williams who was Brett Reid news paper tycoon by day and crime fighter The Green Hornet by night;Bruce Lee played Kato his chauffeur and lethal fighting machine.Another wise okay masked detective show, the best thing about the show was Bruce Lee’s martial arts kills, and the Green Hornet’s car “The Black Beauty"a customized Chrysler Imperial with some tricks of it’s own.

Derek Flint was the essence of cool at the height of the secret agent craze, played to perfection by actor James Coburn;was"James Bond 007’s" only real competition.Only two theatrical movies were made for agent “Flint”,plus one forgettable TV movie “FLINT, DEAD ON TARGET”. Some plans were made to make another movie ,maybe with Coburn at the time:called"F for FLINT"but nothing ever came of it.
