The cinema was in a heritage listed 19th century building, with a modern four star hotel on the left and an adult shop on the other. Hindley Street has always been Adelaide’s night-life precinct. The office and projection room were on the first floor, and the air-conditioned theatre presented a clean and comfortable atmosphere. It was similar to hundreds of newsreel theatres in size and appearance. As of date 120322 when this picture was taken it is intact, empty and for sale.
