What year was this pic from? Great shot, though I take it that it’s from a short video of various older theaters?

I think around 1950. It was taken from a video of a film that showed the west side of Chicago along Crawford Ave. I don’t remember where I saw it and had a friend stop the video so he could print it. A plain marquee considering the original, but at night with all the chasers working it looked pretty nice!

I seem to recall seeing a daytime color view of this marquee from a movie promoting advertising, billboards etc. around Chicago. I can’t recall the name of it offhand, but it is out on YouTube.
