Odeon Leicester Square - BBC News 20th March 2020 - Closed due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
Odeon closed all cinemas a couple of days ago, on the 17th March 2020. With cinemas, pubs, restaurants and other public venues instructed on the 20th March 2020 to close ASAP, this news segment shows a near-empty Leicester Square on a Friday night, and a non-illuminated OLS façade.
(The LED display module screen attached to the façade of Vue West End is still working, but this is actually operated by Ocean Outdoor. Albeit, ironically, some of the static images that were visible in the news segment included adverts for VWE.)
