  • <p>Well this is a disappointing development.
              In one weeks time since I posted my other Rivoli photos, the classic stone face that adorned the original arch was sadly jackhammered off.</p>
            
              <p>I had been told last week by people outside, that the original facade was going to be restored. Then this.</p>
            
              <p>What the hacks who did this don’t realize, is that a lesser amount of work would have probably been required to just remove the whole stone block in tact.
              Which then could have been sold to Salvage One or some such, and then put the money towards their “restoration”. Or placed on display in their own lobby.</p>

  • <p>This is a picture of the United Artists theatre on Randolph Street. To the right is the Woods, after the Woods (barely visible is the Garrick) and in the distance one can spot the Palace Cinerama.</p>
