Hate to mention but this is NOT open as a theatre.. Hasn’t been in a while! IT was last known as a club, Stereo Live Dallas was its' last occupant and now appears vacant again! March 2024.. Sad, seems nothing last here for too long.. Seems like being a Bingo place was one of the longest ventures.. RAC Photography (flickr) Randy A Carlisle

The land still has the aerial view, showing remains of the drive in & outline until at least to now, present day.. U can see where the screen once was. Where the snack was, appears to still be some kind of structure there today. RAC Photography

How saddening!! Some structures just don’t stand a chance to survive. Neglected by the OWNER(s), and left abandoned to rot away to the point of no saving it.. Especially in the D/FW area it seems.. Life Goes On..

Randy A Carlisle commented about Sky-Vue Drive-In on Jun 11, 2023 at 4:08 am

I went to Sky-Vue back around 1999.. Stopped for a movie, and met Mr Kirkland. Super nice guy.. Gave me a T-Shirt that I still have today. Never worn. Nice keep-sake now.. SO saddening about this historical drive in theatre. He started there helping out the snack bar, etc, and eventually bought the drive in.. Anyone know if Mr Kirkland is still around.? Thanx!
