This is only photograph of the Regal Cinema at Beaumaris that I have ever seen. The premises were converted into flats after the cinema closed. It was originally part of the Paramount Pictures Theatre Circuit which owned several cinemas in North Wales. The Regal was a 300-seat cinema which changed its programme three times a week.

Many happy memories of Saturday morning kids films,with the manager Norman Jones known as Hawkeye keeping a watchful eye over the proceedings making sure the boys didn’t steak over to the girls side as the boys and girls were segregated
