Hoyts De-Luxe FOH pictured probably on opening day - Saturday 27th March 1915. (Note workman on roof). This photo appeared in Town & Country 1st April 1915. The venue was initially promoted as ‘Hoyt’s New Palatial Picture Theatre De Luxe Bourke Street Next Theatre Royal’ The cinema actually launched Friday evening 26th March with an Invitation Only Premiere.
