The Golby circuit grew over the years with Lawson/Hazelbrook, Wentworth Falls and Glenbrook as the basis. Mount Victoria Public Hall was added in September 1935. When Golby took over the Leura Civic in 1937 he was too close for the comfort of Katoomba Theatres Co. who proceeded to make his life difficult. He sold his circuit the following year, but the buyers handed it back twelve months later after experiencing similar difficulties. Golby seems to have given up his exhibition activities by the start of WWII, resuming life as a Rockdale real estate agent.
