Garfield Theatre Owner Local Hero - GARFIELD RESIDENTS TIRED OF WAITING - The Age (Melbourne, Vic. : Tue 12 Jan 1926 reports - After waiting many months for a definite answer from the Electrity Commission regarding the town-lighting scheme, residents have decided to take the matter into their own hands, and have made arrangements with the proprietor of the local picture theatre, Mr. M.
