MELROSE Theatre was built on the site of the Melrose Open-Air Gardens, later it became the Prince of Wales theatre – spanning – (1911-1935)
Fullers and Durham Marcel, leased the Melrose Theatre from Wests & Coombe, until Coombe refurbished the theatre in 1922, & then re-named it the Prince of Wales picture house – Contributed by Greg Lynch –
