Located in the Caulfield South suburb, south-east of Melbourne.

House lights going down for the last time.

The Camden Theatre opened in Oct 26, 1935 with 1630 seating provided in stalls and circle levels. It was independently operated, and closed in 1962.

It was converted into a Brunswick 10-pin bowling alley and in recent years has become in indoor bowls club, which was still open in 2018. The decorative details of the façade have now been rendered over. It was demolished in November 2021 - Notes by Ken Roe
