Stairway to mezzanine … more ways for a kid to scare himself. The place was huge. Best to avoid the top balcony if queasy about heights. Might seem a bit bland compared to the Loews State next door. But all these downtown theaters had big screens and projectionists who knew how to put on a show. The house would go dark, logo would start and then the curtain would open. You rarely saw a blank screen.
