This is a Kodachrome slide image taken by my grandfather Albert S. “Al” Johnson. Family records show that his company, Johnson Construction Company based in Birmingham Michigan, completed a remodeling project on the theater. The date of this project was not recorded. Beginning in 1948 Al shot slides of most of his theater and drive-in projects. This image was taken in June 1948.
