Starlight Drive-In. Kodachrome image taken by Albert S. “Al” Johnson in June 1950. According to family records this was the fourth known Michigan drive-in built by Al’s Johnson Construction Company.
In this image you can see the screen tower from the opposite side. Workers are completing the frame by connecting the eight vertical trusses with horizontal timbers.
