Maple City Drive-In. Kodachrome image taken by Albert S. “Al” Johnson in the fall of 1952. Family records show that this was the fifth Michigan drive-in built by Al’s Johnson Construction Company.
Here the fourth tower truss is being raised into place using nothing but human power with block and tackle.
