  • <p>A 40-year source of community pride, the Grant Theatre closed on February 1, 1960. In a remarkable comeback, Grant High School students took on the theatre in their Fall term relaunching November 19, 1960. This unique project lasted two years until a fire destroyed the theater’s auditorium.</p>
