AS everything transitions to DCI compliant jpeg 2000 wavelet compression how well is the GDC server going to work. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn’t the GDC server run on old analog chip and mpeg technology. Can it do live streaming video? Can it do single server 4K? Can it do single server 3d? The transition to DCI compliance may be painful but I believe it will be worth it in the long run. By the way TI’s DLP chip has had some problems communicating with other servers so It may not be Quvis that was the problem.
