The Sidney is re-open for business as of 5-4-2007. It mainly focuses on live stage performances at this time as renovations are ongoing and will be for a couple of years. The Sidney Theater was purchased in July 2006. It is currently undergoing its first phase of renovations. There is no set opening date yet but it is supposed to be open to movie-goers within the next few months.
I have a 17,000 square foot theater house in Sidney Ohio that I am starting renovations on. It was built in 1920 and still has the balcony and stage. The theater needs updating and renovations but was in operation until 3 years ago. I purchased it this past July. I am interested in leasing out the main theater area for several years and will considder options.
