  • <p>The Sunset is one of the great drive-ins, absolutely not to be missed whenever you are in the area. Taken in July 2005.</p>

  • <p>This shows the Crandell Theatre in the 1940’s, before the marquee was replaced.</p>
  • <p>Abandoned and vandalized. I stopped one Thanksgiving and took a few snaps. The next year someone set a fire in the building and it was razed shortly after.</p>
  • <p>Taken in 1953 (see Brigadoon on one of the other marquees), this rare color nighttime photo shows the vibrant theater row of Market Street San Francisco. Most of the theaters shown here are now either demolished or closed.</p>
