horacecope has been updated to change the fact that the site of the Coronation Cinema had houses built on it and has been corrected to ‘it is now the Farmers Arms car park’.

Hello, The Coronation Cinema was on Longley Lane next to the Farmers Arms Pub at the junction of Moor End (road). The land is now the pub car park. The above photo is not the correct position of the cinema and NO houses have been built on the site.
The owner of the pub at one time owned the coronation.
