I can remember seeing this building from the railway when I was commuting into London Paddington during 1985/86 so it was not demolished in the 70’s. 2018 article found at a local history website says demolished 1986 and a Jaguar car dealership built on the site - https://cippenham.org/cippenhams-cinema/
