It was the East Grand Theater and it was East Grand Ave. because Grand Ave. was a very long street, and was over past Fair Park. That would have been the west end of Grand. I spent many hours in the old East Grand theater back in the 40’s. Also many many hours in the Major Theater after it opened. We would go to the Major on Saturdays because they had several live bands there Roy Rogers and Dale Evans even showed up once. Then we would go to the East Grand on Sunday afternoon, after church of course. Good childhood memories.
