I was a young boy in the South City’s last two years, but old enough to remember that even if arriving an hour prior to showtime there was always something to do. There was a huge playground that you would step down into in front of the huge screen. The French fries were the best and the intermission reel should a pizza that looked very delicious. It was very sad to see it close.
