I’m trying to find more info on it. I know carmike owned it in my hometown for awhile and there looking up some old pics for me.
It’s sucks it’s gone they are building a park there and it does make me feel good I’m not the only mad it’s gone lots of people are up set. R.i.p plaza theatre 1970-1997 tore down by idiots 2014
The guy above my comment the link also shows a pic of one in my home town it started in 1970 as one screen then 2 more were added it was my fav. It closed in 1997 and they tore it down last month for a stupid park. It made a lot of people angry they tore it down. I was mad so many childhood memories there.

Sad news it was tore dawn this past February. Sucks so much of my childhood was spent there
Columbus square 8 good memories saw leatherface Texas chainsaw massacre 3 and all the nightmare on elm streets there
The screen and speaker were not done away with till the late 8o’s .
I’m don’t live far from there going to go watch a movie there I love the old school look

They always play the original Halloween every year

Carmike 2 theaters in my hometown and guess what there just sitting there closed
I’ve never been it but when the person walking thorough he added the sounds of the movie trailers in the background but it thinks it is this one
It was first called peachtree twin back in 1975 until 93 when carmike bought it, trying to find some pics

Why would a pervert shop be listed as a movie theater
I’m not sure but I think this is the same theater on youtube where somebody does a walk through in it just type closed movie theaters
