Saw double feature of “Honey I Shrunk The Kids” and “Heartbreak Hotel” back in ‘89-the only time I’ve ever been to a drive-in.

According to the Marcus website this theater now features an ultrascreen and numbers 17 screens.
Not sure when this went in,last movie I saw here was “We Were Soldiers” in ‘02,and I don’t believe there was an ultrascreen then.

Saw “Everest”,“Matrix Reloaded”,and “Matrix Revolutions” on the IMAX screen here.
Also saw “Lord Of The Rings ROTK” on IMAX screen, but not in IMAX,it was 35mm projected on the IMAX screen.Looked awesome though!

After the IMAX was taken out and converted to the ultrascreen,I saw “Star Wars Episode III” here.

Hoyts(now Regal)Cinema at the New Towne Mall basically forced this theater and another twin cinema next to the old Nichols store out in the early 90s.
Ironically,if I recall correctly, the Quaker had some trouble reopening in the later 90s as a second run due to some resistance from Hoyts.

At any rate it’s a nice theater, and downtown New Philadelphia just wouldn’t look right without it!

Went to see “Independence Day” here in ‘96.
It was my first experience with digital sound, and it blew me away!

This theater opened in 1999 when the Easton Towne Center opened. They used to call it Planet Movies when Planet Hollywood was still in business.
Typical very nice AMC megaplex with digital sound and stadium seating.
I drive in from almost 70 miles away once in a while to watch movies, and browse around Easton.
