The old Windsor is now a nightclub, but the new owners did keep the original, distinctive glass front-doors. I worked as an assistant manager at the theater from March 1986-October 1987, and during this time ownership transferred from Cineplex to Cinemark Theaters. It also changed from a first run theater to a dollar theater during this time. We did, however, sponser the 1987 Houston Film Festival in March or April of that year. I loved that job!
