Image description: CERRITO01 0014 cs.jpg The restored Cerrito Theater opens tomorrow, November 1, 2006, on San Pablo Avenue at Central Avenue in El Cerrito. Opened in 1937, "Thin Ice" with Sonja Henie and Tyrone Power was the first movie shown. The cinema featured art deco murals, but closed in the 60's. Now renovated, the two-screen movie house will open playing "Casablanca" and "Pulp Fiction."
