The Apollos 2000 is more similar to the Brighton Park and The Metro Theatre. (Now demolished) The Howard is more similar to interior design. The Metro was almost identical except that the arch and in the back of the Theatre had bleacher type seats. The Brighton Park had a balcony and looked nothing like the Apollos 2000 Theatre on the inside but on the outside were extremely similar.
DEFG it is too late for the Church to move in Landmark status is going to the Portage theatre so alterations of the theatre space cannot be altered nore the lobby or facade can be touched.

Also many people want a live theatre. The Palace Theatre Gary Indiana Facebook page stays posistive and shares pictures of then and now. We also think if renovating this theatre to make live performances, stand up comedy, concerts, parties and much more would bring a lot of Business to Gary Indiana. The area would get better. People would need a place to stay …you need a hotel for that. If your going to get something to eat before the show… you need a resturant. If you want a sovineer.. you need another shop. Also the Palace Theatre building has a hotel, aprtments and many stores. It would bring back lots of things, people,money, and restorations for Gary which is a positive outcome for everybody.
