Wonderful news! I’d love to get a look at the old place again. I enjoyed seeing movies there and once I Saw Pearl Bailey in a memorable stage show in the late 50’s.

I believe the first “art” film shown at the Garden was “Bitter Rice” about 1950-51, and prior to that it had shown mainstream second run films.

We should be able to alert them to anything going wrong in the audutorium whether it’s people or projection or air-conditioning related, without have to get up and search for an elusive employee (and risk losing your seat if you’re alone.) Such a system would be wonderful, but of course some people will abuse it to the point of rendering it useless.
