While it’s cool to see a multiplex with a “Classic”-sized Imax screen, it kinda sucks knowing that it’s probably using those low-res “liemax” projectors.
If it makes you feel any better, they showed “Interstellar” in the 15/70mm format on the IMAX screen here.
And yes, they do use IMAX digital here as well. I saw “Age of Ultron” on the IMAX screen here today and the image only filled up half of the screen.
