The St James Theatre was opened in 1926 & closed in 1971. Later it was demolished for the construction of the St James Centre office building.

Thanks for the image. How nice curtains did look put in the stage screen area of many old cinemas in the 1960’s to make them look more modern. Now all torn down fabric and all.
