New Theatre proposed for Beaconsfield, The Beacon Theatre, at the corner of Hampton-road and Wray-avenue, Beaconsfield, will be ready for the screening of talkie pictures very soon, thus providing a much needed centre of entertainment in a growing suburb.

Raycophone sound equipment

Incorporating the latest ideas in theatre construction, the building is now practically completed, and contractors are concentrating on interior equipment and the installation of the talkie plant. The latest talkie apparatus of the Raycophone type will be installed, adapted for push-pull high fidelity recording.

The theatre will be officially opened by the Mayor of Fremantle (Mr. F. E. Gibson).
