The Vaudette Theatre located in the city of Woodstock was the first moving-picture house in the city and McHenry County itself, opening in early-1908.
Only operating for three years, the Vaudette Theatre closed its doors for the final time in 1911 in connection to the opening of the Princess Theatre, which opened on September 1, 191 - Contributed by 50sSNIPES
