The architect for Hoyts Ritz Theatre was Aaron M. Bolot who had worked for architect Walter Burley Griffin and was influenced by him and Bruce Dellitt who designed the Liberty Theatre in Sydney. You can see the resemblance to the Liberty Theatre’s tall front in the Hoyts Ritz Theatre and Bolot’s other Ritz Theatre, in the Randwick suburb of Sydney -
