I suppose "Dime Theater" was the logical name for second thater to open in Paris afer the "Nickelodeon". It was a small wooden structure located on the west side of the town square and opened by Henry Harris of Greenville, Texas. It was in operation for only three years and the structure was destroyed in a huge downtown fire. The "Rex Theater" opened on the same spot in 1942.
