This theater, opened in July 2006, is housed in a former furniture warehouse circa 1925, just down the hill from downtown Newburgh. It is situated right on the water near the ferry and other great shops and restaurants, just across the Hudson from Beacon. It was closed on April 27, 2023.

THat says they hope to have two screens. There’s a big difference between planning to add one and hoping to add one.
It’s interesting that of the 17 theatres listed on CT for Newburgh only two are open, both single screen one from 2006 the other from the early 1900s.
Please update, theatre open July 2006 and closed permanently on April 27, 2023. See announcement in photos section
