The Star Theatre was a neighborhood house with seating listed at 460. The theatre opened in 1940 and was an African American Theatre.
The Star Theatre closed in 1955. Since closing the auditorium was demolished but the entrance building is now the Country Kitchen Soul Food restaurant.
