New Colma Theatre

Located in Colma, to the east of Daley City and south of San Francisco. The Colma Theatre was opened on March 15, 1924. It was equipped with a Wurlitzer organ. It was later renamed New Colma Theatre. It was closed in the early-1930’s when it was hit by the effects of the Great Depression and other theatres opening in nearby Daly City.

In 1949 it was given a new Art Deco style façade, designed by architectural firm Cantin and Cantin. By April 2022 it operates as the Valarta Nightclub.
