The Town and Country Cinema was opened by Music Makers in 1970. I saw many movies at this theatre from the late-1970’s to the mid-1980’s. I remember the movies were $1.00. They ran the film “Airplane” for about 7 or 8 months. It was later operated by Loews and was closed in 1994.

Starts appearing in the Asbury Park Press around 1970 as a Music Makers Theater. Was eventually sold to Loews and closed in 1994.
