The Carthage Twin Cinema launched in 1979. Audio upgrades included Stereo Surround Sound in the 1980’s followed by DTS. In October of 2013, the theatre converted to digital projection with 3D capability. The Twin Cinema closed January 31, 2015 with a final showing of “American Sniper”.
