Star Cinema Grill

Star Cinema Grill opened their seventh location June 21, 2019, with 1,200 seats, which include pods, blankets, pillows, and a full menu.

Their Samsung Onyx LED screen uses no projector and is said to have 8.8 million pixels whereas 2.2 million is standard. Basically, the 46-foot screen is described as a giant television, albeit with panels. Samsung’s first Onyx screen was unveiled at Pacific Theatres Winnetka in Chatsworth, California in April 2018.

At a cost of $15 million, the 12-screen cinema was designed by architectural firm Gensler & Associates.
