The Eaton Theater sits on the main drag of a VERY small Colorado farm town. The theater was opened by 1930 and closed sometime in the 1950’s. It has been used as someone’s home. I peeked through the window and the theater looks pretty much unchanged, (except the screen and seats are gone). I have spoken with a Ms. Texie Barbor of Eaton (now 92) who was the theater’s pianist when they played silent films.

Will my comment disappear? Why make comments if they are going to disappera into someone elses and your comment disappears? Is everything at someone elses disgression as to the comments remaining on the page?

Manager J. R. Wills reviewed “If I Were King” in the May 6, 1939 issue of Boxoffice. He wrote that the Eaton Theatre’s capacity was 200.
