Lincoln Theatre

The Lincoln Theatre opened in 1951 as a single screen theatre operated by Crescent Amusement Co. The opening day feature was Stephen McNally in “Air Cadet”.

In June of 1982, the Lincoln Theatre went through a remodel and conversion to a two screen. The balcony was closed in for a second screen seating 200. The main floor theatre seated 335.

I was in Fayetteville, Wednesday, 8/15/12. The Lincoln Theatre had BIG YELLOW BANNERS up on the second floor of the the blue facade that read:

“WE ARE NOW DIGITAL”

“DIGITAL PROJECTORS”

“DIGITAL SURROUND SOUND”

“AND YES, WE CAN SHOW 3D MOVIES”

The movies being shown:

“BOURNE LEGACY”
“TOTAL RECALL”
