The Alamo Rangers drum and bugle corps, named for the ALAMO Theatre but not affiliated with it, march past in the summer of 1957. The corps was actually headquartered in the former FAMOUS Theatre across the street, which had been converted into American Legion Post 885 after its 1952 closure.
